The Labrador Retriever: It is a steady, clever, easy to breed dog, nice with the
children, grand-mothers and postmen… It is not a guard dog, it is a retriever
gundog. But by night, it is able to warn you of a prowler. Its appearance and
size may be impressive. It is a compact dog,, strong, with thick coat and
undercoat, with an otter tail. It must be able to dive in cold water to
retrieve ducks. Its head must have a nice expression, a powerful neck, a
tough back. The colour must be dark, with brown eyes.
Storm de Trevira When the puppy is two or three months old, it is still a
baby. Be careful, it is not a toy. It needs quietness, good food, an isolated
and hot place. No excessive games, no jogging, no too long walks, no stairs,
no endless swimming. Until 18 months old, the growth of a puppy needs calm. |
